The extension will insert badges from in menus shown on citekey pages (unless this is turned off in Page Menus). The appearance of these badges can be configured in several ways, directly from your user settings.
The direction of the badge (horizontal or vertical)
If category labels should be shown
If empty categories should be shown
If the badge should have a small appearance
The direction of the tooltip shown on hover (auto, top, bottom, left, or right)
The offset of the tooltip shown on hover
